Fun ~ Fun ... NoT .. Tryin to figure out how to weld my muffler on my car .. NOT FUN. The net is supposed to be the place to learn anything ? Right ? HA .. Cant find a decent site to explain the process .. all I'm getting are advertisements or peoples sites yakking about their experiances with it.

Dang ~ James all the traveling your doing .. are u goin to want to come home to the good ole u.s.of a. ?

Well let's see what's happening in our neck of the woods.. Jordan leaves today for Calif. Goin to hang out with an old friend of ours .. Mike .. I do admit I'm nervous for him .. couldnt bear it if anything ugly happened to him. Mike says "Cathy . he is a Big Boy now. Let it be." But that doesn't help for some reason. Jon stayin here with me so i don't have to be all alone :) We will be goin in Sept. to Calif . well .. for sure Jon will .. We shall see if i go or not.

Three more house payments and the house is free and clear. What a relief to have that done and over with.
So i walk out to Jon's room and see ? Termite damage ... lol .. oh well .. life is fun :)

Well I'll be, lol, the kids took the car to a friends and welded the muffler on in about 10 minutes flat...
So instead of the $125.00 it was going to cost .. it was only about $25.00 for parts...

Jordan in Colorado Springs right now visiting friends .. had to replace a tire on the car he and his friend Crystal are driving out there .. so not to bad..

New pages and pics up on the website of the kids growing up..

July 6th
Happy belated Birthday to Dad
Jordan in Calif now. He said Escondido has crept up on Lake Wohlford. Glad we left when we did.
Used to be a half hour drive to town, now it's a 5 min drive.
Have a feeling that is going to happen here in our neck of the woods in the next 10 years. Local high school spending big bucks on new football stadium, new stop light in our little "blink and it's gone" town of Eagleville.

*doink doink*

I have to keep poking myself to make sure I'm awake. I'm in Oberammergau, Germany, doing some work and I just can't believe it. O'gau is located in the mountains in southern Germany, along the Germany - Austria border. Man, it is beautiful! I've been bouncing around O'gau and Garmish-Partenkirchen. The last time I passed this way was during the family trip to Italy and everything was covered in a pristine layer of snow. Take the snow away, add some sun and a bit of warmth and you have green covered mountains everywhere. There's a lake just down the road called Eibsee. My travelling partner and I have taken a couple of runs around the lake and that was painfully wonderful. Painful because of the run, wonderful to see the lake, the mountains and the trees. We're staying in the Dorint Sports Hotel. Top notch. We spend most of our time in going between the spa and pool. Good stuff Maynard! Who'd have thunk that the Army and/or NATO would have bases around here? Wonder what it would take for me to swing an assignment over this way...... :)
