This post is coming from Reykjavik, Iceland. What a fantastic country! The people are incredibly friendly and open and the island is just beautiful. I canīt believe that people arenīt moving here in droves to live. The weather is fairly cold at most of the time and the wind never seems to drop below the 20 mph limit but hey, those are just minor issues. The one thing that does seem to bother me is the lack of night. The sun goes 'down' right around 1.00 am or 1.30 am and then rises around 4.00 am. I say 'down' because it seems the sun only becomes a little bit dimmer than normal. It would be very easy to sit outside with a small-print paperback book and read for 24 hours straight and never have to turn on a light.
