Finally got a chance to get back into the site and update the blog.... Lots of work going on that keeps me very busy. I'm slated for a Denmark trip next week. That should be interesting. This will be a first time for me so I'm pretty excited about going there. My partner in crime and I will be driving up there. It's supposed to be an eight hour drive, at 520 miles, but around here, that can easily become 16 hours. So.... Time will tell.

Big happenings at the house. Kathy lost another tooth yesterday while she was at school. She brought the tooth home and hid it under her pillow last night. Amazingly, the tooth fairy visited her and left lots of money. Talk about a happy child this morning! Too bad I didn't have a digital camera to snap off a photo and post it here. I haven't seen her smile that big in a long time. :)

We put our Mazda up for sale and paid off the MiniVan. That was a happy time in the house. Once the Mazda sells, we're going to take that money, add in a bit more and make a down payment on the BMW. The only issue to resolve is the question of how much longer we'll be here. I've been considering putting a six month curtailment and returning to the US six months earlier than originally planned. If we do that, we won't be able to buy the BMW. One of the conditions of buying the BMW and not paying stateside taxes is that we have to maintain it overseas for at least one year. A six month curtailment would put us inside the one year window. Hmmmm. Going to have to put on the thinking cap a bit more and see how things work out.
